Laos e-Visa requirements for Croatian citizens

With the introduction of the Laos e-Visa, also known as the Laos e-visa Approval Letter, obtaining a visa for Laos is much simpler than it used to be.

1. Types of Laos e-Visa for Croatian citizens

The Laos e-visa, also known as an approval letter, is an electronic version of the tourist visa that allows Croatian nationals to enter and remain in Laos for up to 30 days for tourism purposes.

The visa holder needs to remember that this is a one-time entry visa for tourism purposes. Citizens of Croatia who have left the country and wish to return must apply for readmission.

To help travelers save time, the Laos eVisa was developed. But at the moment, Croatian citizens can still enter Laos by applying for a regular visa at the airport. However, the process to obtain a traditional visa takes more time and the applicant must wait to be processed at the airport than Laos online visa (e-Visa). 

2. Laos e-Visa Requirements for Croatian Citizens

Citizens of Croatia who are interested in traveling to Laos are required to apply for an electronic visa or a permission letter to lawfully enter the country. However, before applying, citizens of Croatia need to obtain the following requirements for a Laos e-Visa:

• Croatian valid passport (6 months validity) and have at least 02 empty passport pages for stamping with visas.
• Copy of the cover and biographical page on the passport.
• Debit or credit card with sufficient funds to pay the application fee.
• A valid email address where the Laos eVisa will be sent.
• Recent passport-like photograph. The picture used by Croatians should meet all the photo ID requirements.

3. How to apply for a Laos e-Visa from Croatia

The application process with Global Visa Services has been streamlined into a few basic steps. Please fill out our online form with your complete contact information first. When applying for an eVisa to Laos, you'll need to provide the following information about yourself in the personal details area of the form:

• Full name (first and last names)
• Gender
• Nationality
• Date, city, and country of birth

The Croatian passport details required are:

• Passport date of issue
• Date of expiry

It is the responsibility of each Croatian to ensure that all the information they enter into the Laos e-visa application form is accurate and complete before submitting it.

The next step, they need to select a method of payment and pay for the application form.

Typically, permission requests take between one and three business days to process. Once the Laos e-Visa approval letter has been emailed, it is valid for 60 days from the date it was issued.

Note: After receiving Laos e-Visa through email, Croatia residents should print it to provide for staff at the border gate.

4. Laos e-Visa fees for Croatian citizens

Two types of Laos visa fees are required to obtain a Laos e-Visa for Croatian: Service Fees and Government Fees.

Payment to the government is required before a Laos visa can be issued. This fee is non-refundable and is determined by the applicant's nationality. Croatian citizens applying for a visa should therefore double-check the accuracy of the information they provide.

The Service fee includes the consultation fee (from receiving information to processing e-Visa) and depends on which processing services you choose from Global Visa Services: 

• Normal Service: The Laos e-Visa for Croatian citizens will be processed within 03 business days. 
• Urgent Service: Travelers from Croatia can get a Laos e-Visa in 02 business days. 
• Super Urgent Service: This is the fastest service which is processed in 01 business day. 

Croatian nationals can use any widely-accepted method of electronic transfer or wire transfer to pay the e-visa fee. They can pay fees by credit card or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or PayPal) or by the Bank of Cyprus.
