What accommodation info needed for application?
When submitting an application for Indonesia’s electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA), applicants are required to declare accommodation details for their stay in Indonesia. This information helps immigration authorities understand your travel plan and intended place of residence upon arrival.
In most cases, you will be asked to provide basic accommodation information, which may include:
- The name of your hotel or accommodation
- The accommodation address, including the city (and postal code if available)
- A contact phone number for the accommodation, where applicable
- The estimated length of stay at that address
If you intend to stay at multiple hotels or accommodations during your trip, only the details of your first place of stay in Indonesia are required at the application stage. You are not obligated to list every accommodation for your entire itinerary.
It is important to note that a confirmed hotel booking or reservation document does not need to be uploaded when applying for the e-VOA. However, the accommodation information you provide should be truthful, reasonable, and consistent with your travel plans. Indonesian immigration officers may occasionally ask to confirm accommodation details during arrival, especially if clarification is needed.
A wide range of accommodation types is accepted for e-VOA purposes, including hotels, hostels, guesthouses, serviced apartments, and private rentals such as villas or homestays. As long as the declared accommodation is legitimate and verifiable, it is generally considered acceptable for the application.
