Do I need a visa to go to Uzbekistan?

Uzbekistan, known for its rich history and stunning landscapes, has become an increasingly popular destination for travelers. However, before planning your trip, it's crucial to determine whether you need a visa to enter the country.

The visa requirements for Uzbekistan vary depending on your nationality. Citizens of several countries, including most CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) nations, do not require a visa for short stays. Additionally, Uzbekistan has introduced an eVisa system for citizens of over 70 countries, including the United States, Canada, and many European nations, making the process of obtaining a visa quick and convenient.

The eVisa allows for a stay of up to 30 days and can be easily applied for online. If your country is not eligible for visa-free entry or the eVisa, you will need to apply for a traditional visa at an Uzbek embassy or consulate. It’s also important to ensure that your passport is valid for at least 06 months beyond your intended departure date from Uzbekistan.

To avoid any last-minute complications, it’s recommended to check the latest visa requirements on the Global Visa Corp website or consult your local Uzbek consulate. Whether you need a visa or not, planning ahead will ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit to this fascinating Central Asian country.
