Do you need to be vaccinated to travel to Malaysia?
No. All foreign travellers can enter Malaysia regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status and do not require a pre-departure or on-arrival COVID-19 test. The Malaysian Government enforces no quarantine orders related to COVID-19 upon arrival.
All international visitors, regardless of COVID-19 immunization status, are welcome to visit Malaysia and are not required to take a COVID-19 test before departure or upon arrival. The Malaysian government does not execute quarantine orders for COVID-19 upon arrival.
All international travelers must satisfy the following conditions before entering Malaysia:
- Have a valid passport for more than 6 months upon arrival in Malaysia.
- Obtain a visa if you have a passport from a country that requires a visa to enter Malaysia.
- Have a valid return ticket or a ticket to a third country and enough finances to sustain your stay in Malaysia.
- Fill in the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) three days before arrival.
