How much time can Australian citizens stay in Laos?

With a Laos eVisa, Australian nationals can stay in Laos for up to 30 days. If you need to extend your stay in Laos, you can request a visa extension at the Immigration Department. You will, however, be required to demonstrate a good cause for your longer stay.

The visa processing for Laos e-visa involves the following four steps:

Step 1: Complete the application form with your personal information, which should include:

  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Nationality
  • Address
  • Passport number

Step 2: Submit the required visa fees, and be prepared to provide any additional supporting documents that may be requested.

Step 3: You will receive a confirmation email confirming the receipt of your e-visa application.

Step 4: Once your Laos e-visa arrives in your email inbox, ensure you download and print at least two copies of the eVisa before your trip to Laos.

By following this guide, our aim is to provide you with a clearer understanding of the process involved in applying for an online visa to Laos. If Australian citizens have any questions about obtaining a Laos e-visa, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.
