You can apply for a Kenya entry permit online at home. Simply fill out the application form with accurate information, submit the required documents, such as a passport photo and a scanned copy of your passport, and pay the application fee.
The processing time for a Kenya travel permit application is typically within two business days. However, it is recommended to apply well in advance of your intended travel date to account for any potential delays.
To be eligible for a Kenya entry permit, you must hold a valid passport from an eligible country and have a confirmed return ticket or onward travel itinerary. Sometimes, other documents will be required case by case.
A Kenya travel document is valid for a single entry into Kenya within a period of three months (90 days) from the date of issuance. The maximum length of stay allowed is up to 90 days from the entry date.
Along with your application form, you will need to submit a digital passport photo, a scanned copy of your passport bio page, and any additional supporting documents requested by the eVisa system.
A Kenya entry permit cannot be extended beyond the initial 90-day period of stay. If you wish to stay longer in Kenya, you must apply for a visa extension through the Kenyan immigration authorities before your entry permit expires.
