The processing time for a Tanzania eVisa generally depends on the type of visa requested and the service option you choose. For the Tanzania e-Visa, we offer two processing levels: Normal processing (within 5 business days) and Urgent processing (within 3 business days). Both processes will begin from the moment we receive your fully completed documents that meet all requirements.

Beginning on October 1, 2024, Zanzibar will implement a complete insurance program for all visitors in an effort to make them feel secure. Inbound travelers arriving just in the Zanzibar archipelago will be required to purchase travel insurance for a maximum of three months, which promises to offer prompt assistance in the event of medical or other crises.

Do children also need to apply for a visa for Tanzania?
Yes, a valid visa is required for entry into Tanzania for all travelers, regardless of age. The e-visa is connected to a passport, which each person must have (children cannot be included on a parent or guardian's passport).
In addition, anyone under the age of eighteen who is traveling alone or with just one parent or guardian is required to present a copy of their passport, their birth certificate, and parental approval.
