About Tanzania eVisa

The Tanzania eVisa program is an electronic visa document established by the government in November, 2018. This visa category affords eligible citizens the opportunity to submit visa applications for entry into Tanzania without the necessity of visiting the Embassy. Introduced with the aim of streamlining the online visa application process, the eVisa facilitates foreign nationals in acquiring authorization to visit Tanzania for specific purposes. 

At the moment, we provide 03 types of Tanzanian eVisa which is used for tourist purposes:

• Tourist Visa: Tourists can travel to Tanzania within 3 months with single entry or multiple entries for tourism purposes.
• Business Visa: Travelers can enter Tanzania for attending any business activities within 3 months with single entry.
• Transit Visa: With this type of visa, travelers can pass through Tanzania and stay in this country for 7 days.

When using our visa services, travelers can reduce the time and effort to obtain an eVisa. There are 3 processing time that travelers can choose to process your eVisa:

• Normal: The process will take from 03 business days
• Urgent: The process will take about 02 business days
• Super Urgent: This process will take within 01 business days

As a result, travelers should apply for an e-visa at least 07 days in advance to prevent any unexpected circumstances. However, there are some nationalities who can apply for this type of visa. Please check Tanzania visa requirements based on nationality in order to get an e-visa.
