About the Jordan eVisa

The Jordan eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that allows eligible travelers to apply for a Jordanian visa entirely online. It was launched in March 2023 by the Jordanian Ministry of Interior to modernize and simplify the visa application process. The eVisa is an official document that grants entry into Jordan. Travelers intending to visit the country can apply through an online portal by providing the required details and completing an online payment.

Applicants who submit visa applications through the eVisa system will receive confirmation via email. Once processing is complete, the visa approval decision will be sent to the registered email address. This approval letter must be presented at the passport control counter upon arrival in Jordan for verification.

It’s important to note that Jordanian border officials retain the right to deny entry to eVisa holders upon arrival, based on inspection or verification, without obligation to provide a detailed explanation.

Currently, citizens of many countries are eligible for the Jordan eVisa. This means they can obtain a Jordan visa online for tourist purposes through this country. There are four types of tourist eVisas available:

• Tourist eVisa (Single entry for 1 month)
• Tourist eVisa (Double entries for 3 months)
• Tourist eVisa (Multiple entries for 6 months)
• Tourist eVisa (Multiple entries for 1 year)
