Do I have to participate in the Embassy in person to apply for a Laos visa?

Follow the steps below to apply for an electronic visa to Laos: 

  • Step 01: Applicants are expected to give details about themselves and their planned trips, such as their full names, genders, nationalities, passport numbers, and departure and arrival dates. Once incorrect data is submitted to the government, it cannot be changed. You should double-check everything before continuing.
  • Step 02: After passing the check, applicants must pay the e-visa fee on our website. After your e-visa application has been reviewed, we may request further information from you.
  • Step 03: When your Laos e-visa application has been approved, you will receive notification of this through email. You will receive a PDF file that passengers must print out before heading to the airport. Submitting an application for a Laos e-visa at least 7 days before departure will help ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible. The visa result will be processed in three business days.
