About Uganda eVisa

The Uganda eVisa program is an electronic visa document established by the government in 2016. This type of visa allows some citizens to apply for a visa to enter Uganda freely without visiting the Embassy. Introduced to simplify the online visa application process, the eVisa enables foreign nationals to obtain authorization to visit Uganda for certain purposes.

At the moment, we provide 3 types of Uganda eVisa which is used for tourist and transit purposes:

  • Tourist Visa: Tourists can travel to Uganda within 90 days with single entry for tourism purposes.
  • Transit Visa: This e-visa is used to transit through Uganda and stay in Uganda for 7 days with single entry.
  • East Africa Visa: Travelers who have this type of e-visa can travel between Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda for 90 days with multiple entries.

When using our visa services, travelers can reduce the time and effort to obtain an eVisa. There are 3 processing time that travelers can choose to process your eVisa:

  • Normal: The process will take from 03 business days
  • Urgent: The process will take about 02 business days

As a result, travelers should apply for an eVisa at least 1 week in advance to prevent any delay. However, there are some nationalities who can apply for this type of visa. Please check visa requirements based on nationality in order to get an eVisa.
